Stripes and 3D

This week Simon Says Stamp and Show some stripes. Tuesday Throwdown challenged us to use 3D. I guess the stripes speak for themselves in my card. I will say that the background paper is from My Minds Eye and has delightful texture and shimmer on it. The image is a Faerie Poppet from Christine Haworth. I used the level up Technique Junkies for my 3D effect. It is sublter than using pop dots for each level, but there is definitely dimension. The image is actually a foil type paper. Of course flatbed scanning loses some of the dimension and finish.  In real life, the image really pops.
