I am so tired of winter weather, so I decided to look at it from a positive angle. Of course, this cardinal with the pine background brings a smile to my face. It's from one of my favorite Kitchen Sink Stamp sets, "Winter Cardinals". I also used the branch from "Owl and Autumn Moon". The saying is an old stamp from Great Impressions, which I don't think exists any more.
The inks used were all Adirondack. For the cardinal I used peach bellini, cranberry, rust, and black. For the pine branches I used juniper, meadow, raisin, and black. For the branch I used hazelnut, raisin, and black.
I really think the pine branches with the pine cones make a great background designer paper.
