Easter Basket

Easter is just days away and here's a little Easter basket to celebrate. My Easter basket represents several challenges.
Cheery Lynn challenged us to make a basket. First, I made the sides and bottom of the basket using one of the medium Celtic chain mega rectangle doily dies. I scored the die cut to make the front and back and the bottom. Then I cut a piece of cardstock to make the two sides. The handle is the country girl border die cut with a ribbon woven through the holes. It is attached to the sides with fancy brads. The embellishments are made using lace eggs 1, 4, and 5. The flowere are from the lace corner deco D set of dies. The rabbit is a digital image from the Octopode Factory.
the challenge at the Octopode Factory is bling it on. Although bling is hard to see in scans, Marigold the bunny has bling flowers on her bows and basket. She has a bling egg in her basket, and all of the flowers have bling centers.
The challenge at Take a word is eggs and the Tuesday Throwdown challenge is pastels.
It was a bit of a challenge for me to get everything to fit together. However, I think the end result  is a pretty good Easter basket.

How very clever to use the Reflections die as the 3 sides and just add a middle, brilliant! Adorable basket, Barbara, love that big eyed bunny. Good luck and thanks for joining in on the fun at Cheery Lynn Designs challenge blog.
