It's Bloggers Challenge time again and this week we're celebrating Moms. In addition Cheery Lynn wants to see flowers; Simon Says Stamp and Show a kaleidoscope of color; Sweet Stamps wants something for Mom; and All Things Tim (Yahoo Group) wants flowers and at least two things Tim Holtz.
To make this card I started with a background using the alcohol ink splatter (TH technique) and definitely a kaleidoscope of color. The irises (Sweet Stamps) were watercolor stamped with distress markers (ala Tim Holtz). The frame and roses are done using Cheery Lynn dies (miniature rose and Dutch doily rectangular frame). The roses got a little flattened using the scanner, but they really look like miniature roses when fluffed back up. The letters were cut using Tim's typeset die. I think any Mom would love to receive this card.

Bon Voyage
This week Fashionable Stamping has nautical as its challenge theme and All Things Tim's April challenge is new to you.
I guess the nautical is obvious. For ATT it was necessary to also use at least two Tim Holtz products. New to me is the stamp set I used, the distress markers I colored with, and the gelli plate I used to create the background. Both the stamp set and the distress markers are Tim Holtz products.

Compendium of Curiosities Challenge 7 -- Tinted Vision Fragments
This week the Compendium of Curiosities challenge is from p. 55, Tinted Vision Fragments. What a cool way to frame an image. My background paper is from Tim's paper stack Vintage Shabby. I just love that paper stack. All of the stamps except the baby buggy are from Tim's line. The baby buggy is from I Brake for Stamps. I am so lovin' these challenges.
