Village Scene

A sketch is a fun challenge and Mojo Monday challenge sketches are top notch. I pulled out an old Thomas Kinkade stamp for my focal image today. The oval shape of the stamp worked so well with the sketch. My image was stamped on a very smooth matte cardstock (no longer available) which takes photo type stamps like a glossy cardstock. I tinted the image with Pan Pastels and then sprayed with workable fixative to be sure that the pastels didn't rub off or smear. I used a printed cardstock for the background panel, embossed the dark teal and white panels, and added a yellow glitter paper panel. The yellow panel and yellow flowers help to bring out the yellow of the windows in the image.
