OK, this is the last post today. This is a three challenge card. This week the Try That Technique challenge is the Glimmer Masked Background from the TJ Stampbooking CD. The challenge at Kraft Journal is "Something old, something new". And Simon Says Stamp and Show a word. Now a little about my card... The background is made with glimmer mist sprayed over a doily-type template. The telephone is a stencil from Club Scrap. I used Pan Pastels to stencil the phone. The word "Hello" is also a stencil. I used gold glitter gel medium as a stencil paste over the letters. The word is actually very textured and stands out much better on the actual card.
My sonethings old are the telephone stencil, the glimmer mist, and the pan pastels. The somethings new are the doily templact and the jewels in the corners.
Because of the size of the template and the phone stencil, this card is larger than my normal. It's a 6 inch square card.
