The
Grungy Monday 12 challenge is to try the
Tim Holtz Blog Technique Challenge from April 2008. This is a variation of "shabby chic" using Design Paper. For my paper I used some Kodomo Washi paper. The print paper really looks stunning when the paint is washed away from the embossed harlequin stamp. I used Thickers for my chipboard pieces. The use of the brighter design paper on the tag gives a cheery look to the distressed tag. This project took a little more time because of all the steps and because of the drying time needed, but it was fun.

Lovely tag, the bright colors really stand out against the rich, grungy background.
