Packaging Materials

The Gingersnap Creations Spicy Supply challenge is packaging materials. This was a fun challenge. For my packaging supplies I went with a piece of a corrugated cardboard box. From this piece two butterflies emerged using Tim Holtz's movers and shakers butterflies. These were painted with liquid pearls. I also used a piece of bubblewrap and die cut the flower. I used Stazon ink to color the bubbles and layered the bubblewrap flower over a piece of similarly colored cardstock with a fancy brad as a center. The background is a piece of printed vellum from Webster's Pages which was overlaid on a dry embossed piece of white cardstock. All of the elements were adhered to a purple card base.

Smashing recycling, great use of the corrugated card and recycled plastic.

Love the contrast between the rustic texture of the cardboard butterflies and the elegant floral designs ... so glad you joined us for creating with packing materials at Gingersnap Creations.
