Bloggers Challenge 164 using Try That Technique Gated Tag technique
This week the Bloggers Challenge was to create a birthday card. The challenge from Try That Technique was to use the Gated Tag technique from the February 2008 newsletter. This theme and the technique were made for each other. My birthday card is a gated card. When you open the card, there are four pockets each containing a tag. Because it was a birthday card challenge, each of my tags has a birthday sentiment stamped on it. The first two tags have a distressed ink background. The third was sprayed with glimmer mists, and the fourth has a star stamped background.

Beautiful Gated BD Tag card, love all the various colored BD tags on the inside!
This is amazing Barbara! What a wonderful design! I love the tags and how this creation folds up! Beautifully done! :D
This is fabulous, Barbara...what a unique and beautifully created card. I love it. Hugs, Gayle.
Very cute gated tag card!
This is a really neat technique and I think it works great that the front of the card has a split format and then inside you get the four folds as well. Such a nice idea to include the tags (bookmarks?) on the inside for the birthday boy/girl.
I love this project- Your outside cover is great and I love all of the inside tags. I love the colors of the tags too- great job!
Wow what a unique card. Love that you created birthday tags to go along with the theme.
WOW...this is amazing! Love the wispy look to the outside image and then to have it open up to reveal 4 pockets...gorgeous! {SMILES}

Wow, I love your sponged on colour. It really makes your card pop. Thank you for linking by way of my Design Junkie Blog as I missed it on the Yahoo group (although I'm not quite through my 100 e-mails).
