Critter Sketch Challenge 27
This week the challenge at Critter Sketch is to create a boy card using glitter on it somewhere. As I was looking for a good "boy" stamp I found this gecko and I knew I had my card. I used the woodgrain texture fade from Tim Holtz on medium brown cardstock and highlighted the raised areas with Expresso dye ink. I stamped the gecko on a piece of double sided adhesive and cut it out. I adhered him to the tree and then used the glitter on the other side of the adhesive. I stamped the Happy birthday on a small piece of white paper and put it in the embossing folder where the knot hole is. I then glued it over the knot hole in the tree. My grandson will be four in a few weeks. I may have his birthday card finished early.
