Compendium of Curiosities Challenge 9 -- Distress Crackle -- Wings
This week the Compendium of Curiosities challenge at Studio L3 is Crackle Distress on p. 42 of Tim's book. In addition both Simon Says Stamp (first challenge) and Stampotique Designers had "Wings" as the challenge theme. For my card I used the Fanciful Flight die from Tim's Alterations line and a stamp from his collection. The wings are cut from grungeboard.I used both clear and tinted distress crackle on my card. On the DP background I used the clear Rock Candy to highlight the flowers and leaves. The clear leaves a fine crackle. On the wings of the butterfly I used spiced marmalade and mustard seed. The cracks show much more here. The outline of the wings is done in tarnished brass crackle.
