This week Bloggers Challenge is a color challenge. We are to use the colors red, green, and yellow in our creation. I decided to use the Background Whimsy technique from the June/July 2010 Technique Junkies newsletter. I did make one change. Instead of Copics or dye ink, I used Pan Pastels for the color. I used a background stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms. The flower is from Heartfelt Creations. Both of the sentiments are from Club Scrap. I thought that these colors were so bright and cheery. They were perfect for a birthday card.
Since the challenge at Created Byhand is to create art using the theme , “You say It’s your Birthday” in some way, shape, or fashion, this card seemed perfect for the challenge.
