Tuesday Throwdown is challenging us to use stripes in our work. I chose to go with stars and stripes since Memorial Day is coming up this weekend. I had some clear plastic bookmark holders in my stash, so I decided to make a bookmark. Here you see the front and the back. I used stamps from the Artistic Outpost stamp sets Hero and She-roes. To make the background I dry embossed blue cardstock with stars and red cardstock with stripes. I used white titanium pan pastels to highlight the stars and stripes. To top it off I added a Muse Token (Tim Holtz) with a C for Courageous.
