Try That Technique--Fossil Stone and Sunday Stamper 118

Often a technique challenge works well with a theme challenge, and this week is one of those times. The challenge for Try That Technique is Fossil Stone from the April 2006 Technique Junkies newsletter. The background of this card (behind the finger prints) is the fossil stone technique. I really love how this turned out, although at first I had my doubts. The coolness of the technique wasn't evident until the brayering step...then WOW.
The content of this card is the result of the Sunday Stamper challenge at the Ink on my Fingers blog. I just discovered this blog and challenge over the weekend because of the artwork of two of my friends, Lisa and Gerrie. If you've never been to the Ink on my Fingers blog, it is definitely worth a few minutes of your time. I guarantee a fun time. The challenge theme was secrets. As soon as I saw the theme, I knew I wanted to play and use the Private Eye stamps from Club Scrap. I also had an optical glass which worked perfectly here.
