Critter Sketch Challenge 30 and Try That Technique -- Cuttlebug Highlights

This week the challenge at Critter Sketch was a sketch (see left). As is often the case, this weeks Try That Technique challenge worked right along. The challenge was Cuttlebug Highlights from the Oct. '08 Technique Junkies newsletter. The background is the Cuttlebug Highlights. I used the Cracked texture fade from Tim Holtz. For the color I used a rainbow pad and brayer. I thought the black and cracked background gave a little creepiness to the card. The skeleton, bats, and Happy Halloween images are from the Haunted Halloween stamp sheet from Artistic Outpost. The lightly stamped music behind the bats is from the Tim Holtz collection.
